The appetizing Khasta Kachori is everyone’s favorite breakfast snack. The crispy and delicious Kachoris, filled with the lip-smacking flavors of spices, which are deep-fried in Trans Fat Free Dalda Vanaspati. You can never go wrong with the tempting Khasta Kachoris!

2 Cups refined flour
Salt (As per taste)
Trans Fat Free Dalda Vanaspati
Black gram (husked)
Powdered Fennel seeds
Grind the lentils.
Add the cumin seeds and asafetida (hing) with 2 tablespoons of Trans Fat Free Dalda Vanaspati.
Add the lentils and other ingredients, for the filling.
Saute till the mixture is well fried.
Leave it to cool.
Mix flour and salt.
Add Trans Fat Free Dalda Vanaspati to the flour.
Make it into a mixture.
Add water, to make it into a stiff dough.Cover and leave to rest for 20 minutes.
Make small sized balls of the lentil mixture and cover with a cloth.
Roll these balls.
Take one piece of rolled dough and pinch the edge, leaving the center thicker.
Place a ball of filling in the center and wet the edges and bring it together, to cover the filling completely. Press together.
Place this piece in your palm and press gently in the center. Flatten it and then roll it in a round.
Fry the kachoris till they all turn golden in color.
