Ingredients Checklist

For Chicken:

  1. 1 spoon Trans Fat Free Dalda Vanaspati
  2. Grated garlic & ginger
  3. Chilli peppers
  4. Chopped Mint
  5. Cilantro
  6. Garam masala
  7. Ground cinnamon
  8. Salt
  9. Bone-in skin-on chicken thighs
  10. 6 cups of water
  11. Cardamom
  12. Cumin seeds
  13. Bay leaf
  14. Basmati rice
  15. Saffron threads
Preparation Mode
  • STEP 1

    Combine the Trans Fat Free Dalda Vanaspati, garlic, ginger, chili peppers, mint, cilantro, garam masala, cinnamon and salt & stir to marinate the chicken for the biryani.
  • STEP 2

    Toss the chicken pieces into it
  • STEP 3

    Let the chicken marinate.
  • STEP 4

    Add Trans Fat Free Dalda Vanaspati and onions into it.
  • STEP 5

    Add the water, salt, cumin, bay leaf and cardamom and boil.
  • STEP 6

    Saute the onions in, add the chicken.
  • STEP 7

    For biryani, add the saffron to the rice
  • STEP 8

    Add half the rice mixture in chicken.
  • STEP 9

    Top with onions.
  • STEP 10

    Steam the biryani for 10 more minutes.
