Indian festivals are incomplete without the crispy pastry filled Gujiyas. It is an out-of-the-world experience to devour the flavor of sweet khoya, stuffed with dry fruits, wrapped in crispy textured, and deep fried in Dalda Vanaspati. What a Bliss!

For the Dough:
For the Filling:
Powdered Green cardamom
For the syrup:
Mix flour and salt.
Add Dalda Vanaspati to the flour.
Make it into a mixture.
Add water, to make it into a stiff dough.Cover and leave to rest for 20 minutes.
Make small sized balls of the lentil mixture and cover with a cloth.
Roll these balls.
Take one piece of rolled dough and pinch the edge, leaving the center thicker.
Place a ball of filling in the center and wet the edges and bring it together, to cover the filling completely. Press together.
Place this piece in your palm and press gently in the center. Flatten it and then roll it in a round.
Fry the kachoris till they all turn golden in color.
