Methi Pakodas

Ingredients Checklist

1 cup Fresh methi leaves cuarsely chopped
3/4 cup Besan
1 tsp Red chilly powder
1/2 tsp Hing
1/2 tsp Cumin Powder Onion sliced thinly
1/4 tsp Ajwain
1 tbsp Rice flour
to taste Salt
Dalda® Oil

Method of Preparation

  1. To begin with, mix together the besan, rice flour, onion, salt, red chilly powder, ajwain, cumin, and hing and add this enough water to make a thick batter.
  2. To this add the methi leaves.
  3. Then using a tablespoon, add spoonfuls of the pakoda batter into hot Dalda® oil and fry until golden brown.
  4. When ready, serve hot with tomato with ketchup or mint chutney.
