Hyderabadi Style Spicy Chicken

Ingredients Checklist

600 gms chicken
15 gms garlic paste
15 gms ginger paste
15 gms garam masala
75 gms Brown onion paste
40 gms Cashew nut paste
150 gms yoghurt
50 gms tomato puree
2.5 gms cardamon powder
2.5 gms tumeric powder
5 gms red chilli powder
5 gms coriander powder
10 ml Kewra water
125 gms Ghee
to taste salt
2 nos boiled eggs
5 gms ginger
10 gms lemon juice
2.5 gms coriander leaves
10 ml cream
5 gms butter

Method of Preparation

  1. Heat the ghee. Add ginger- garlic paste, garam masala and saute.
  2. Add the chicken pieces, salt and fry.
  3. Add the yogurt, brown onion paste, cashew nut paste, turmeric powder, tomato puree, coriander powder, red chilli powder and cook.
  4. Add little water and cover the vessel with a silver foil and put in dum with live coal under the vessel till the chicken is cooked.
  5. Finish the curry with garam masala, cardamon powder, mace powder, kewra water, lemon juice and cream.
  6. Garnish with boiled eggs and tomato wedges.
  7. Toss the coriander leaves in butter and sprinkle on top.
