Corn on Cob with Tomato Salsa

Ingredients Checklist

1 no Whole Corn On Cob
20 ml Oil
to taste Salt
10 gms Red Chilli Powder
50 gms Butter
100 gms Fresh Tomato Dices
10 gms Red onion Chopped
5 gms Corainder
5 gms Green Chilli
10 ml Lemon Juice
5 ml Tobasco

Method of Preparation

  1. Blanch the whole corn in boiling salted water.
  2. Immediately shock in cold water and cool down.
  3. Cut the whole corn in three pieces.
  4. Marinate the corn with chilly powder, salt and oil.
  5. While its marinating, make the tomato salsa.
  6. Mix the tomato dices, chopped coriander, green chilli, lemon juice and Tabasco.
  7. Adjust the seasonings and keep chilled.
  8. Grill the corn on charcoal .
  9. Apply butter and serve with the chilled tomato salsa.
